Dr Robin Scott

Dr Rab Scott is Head of Virtual Reality and Simulation at the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC). Rab has been a member of the AMRC staff since its beginning and heads a team which delivers advanced visualisation solutions across a number of groups within the AMRC with Boeing, the Nuclear AMRC and Factory 2050.

He is passionate about the use of advanced techniques to visualise data to improve communication and increase understanding and value.

Rab sits on the advisory board for the Industry of Things Summit and on the organising committee for the annual SAE AR/VR Technologies Symposium. Dr Scott also sits on the High Value Manufacturing Catapult VR and Visualisation Forum.
